Abstract

The paper presents the development and validation of a computer model for contractors’ turnover forecasting to be used by practitioners outside the company under consideration. The model is divided into a simulation module and a forecasting module. The simulation module generates individual contracts based on publicly accessible data and a series of models previously developed. The forecasting module provides the missing data for the simulation module by converting a forecast of output into a forecast of order. The paper concludes by a series of validation and evaluation tests.
