Abstract
The growing number of aging infrastructures worldwide has raised increasing concerns regarding their functionality, safety, and long-term sustainability. Failures in critical infrastructure can lead to severe economic losses, disruptions to daily life, and even potential hazards to public safety. As a result, proactive monitoring and timely maintenance of these assets have become essential to ensure their structural integrity and reliability. This thesis aims to provide a comprehensive solution by integrating efficient data acquisition methods, practical defect information modeling, and a structured severity-level evaluation system. By leveraging advanced techniques, this study seeks to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of defect detection, classification, and prioritization, ultimately supporting informed decision-making in infrastructure maintenance and management.
